Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin, the woman who never could get enough of being noticed, worth about $20 Million, has two Emmys, and that still isn’t enough.
I personally never cared for her brand of humor, but apparently Hollywood did and at the time she was presented with her last Emmy she said, “A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus. Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now.”
I found that revolting and I vowed that anytime in the future that I saw Kathy Griffin on the television that I would change the channel and I have done so.
Griffin is in keeping with the present liberals in and out of Hollywoood. At age 53 she decided to do something “iconic” and pose nude.
She refers to the LGBT community as “my gays.” They are her biggest audience and giver of awards.
While Anderson Cooper of CNN was waiting for Griffin for an interview he handed his phone over to the interviewer which had a text on it from Griffin which said “Don’t embarrass me,” it read, along with a full-frontal nude selfie, in which Ms. Griffin covered her most private part with a bright red apple.
Griffin’s latest antic of posing with a fake bloody severed head of President Trump went too far. Griffin said, “Tyler (Shields) and I are not afraid to make images that make noise.” She joked that she would have to leave the country after the shoot. She said she was a comedian and could and would say anything she wanted to under the First Amendment.
After Griffin was highly roasted for her conduct by the left and the right, she came up with a half-hearted apology where she said, “Hey everybody, it’s me, Kathy Griffin. I sincerely apologize. I am just now seeing the reaction to these images. I’m a comic. I crossed the line. I moved the line. Then I crossed it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing.
‘I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my career. I will continue. I ask your forgiveness.
‘Taking down the image. I am going to ask the photographer to take down the image. And I beg for your forgiveness. I went too far. I made a mistake and I was wrong.”
Had Kathy Grifffin let it go at that apology, perhaps many people would have given her a pass. Perhaps others would have prayed for her and forgiven her. Perhaps others would have chosen just to forget it. But she didn’t want anyone to forget. She couldn’t let it go. She craved even more attention. It wasn’t enough that everything that she had done so far had caused her to get fired from CNN.
Now Griffin was going to play the victim. The white men were out to get her. This is happening because she is a woman. It is all Trump’s fault she lost her job. I doubt that since CNN does not like President Trump in the first place.
Griffin — who said in her apology that she frequently crosses the line as a comedian — contended the Trumps crossed the line by voicing their reactions and making it about their child’s reaction and she never meant that. [6/3/2017]
